ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Use and Misuse of Mobile Learning (presentation and roundtable discussion)

This presentation will focus on a variety of themes related to mobile learning and how each may detract from or add to the mobile learning experience. Themes will include:

  • Mobile Learning usage  (state of the nation)
  • LMS support
  • Pedagogy
  • Responsive Design
  • Accessibility
  • Collaboration (WebRTC)
  • Augmented Reality
  • Offline use
  • Audio/Video challenges

Bob Bilyk and Jothan Sargent will present information around these themes and show some examples to further illustrate use of mobile learning. After the two presentations we will open the floor to a roundtable discussion. Please feel free to bring your own experiences with mobile learning to examine with the group.
