ABOUT THE PROGRAM

The demand for mobile learning has skyrocketed in the past few years. Everywhere you look, people are connected to their phones and tablets. With that comes a change to how people want to learn and take in information. As instructional designers and developers, we have a huge opportunity to design our learning experiences to maximize these devices.

However, we must change our approach to designing to ensure that we are still creating an effective and engaging experience for the learners.

This session will introduce you to:

  • The basic design principles of mobile learning
  • The key design considerations to create effective mobile learning experiences
  • Case studies and examples of what mobile learning could and should be
  • Tools and technical considerations when developing for mobile
  • Resources to get you started
