Title: Creating Emergency Responders / Disaster Relief at a Global Level

About the Topic

Building and/or curating eLearning for a global audience is both rewarding and challenging. Our speaker, Bob Nutting, previously served in a global role with the DisasterReady.org initiative and will present some lessons learned and best practices during his 2+ years with this incredible nonprofit initiative. This will be a conversation–so bring your insights to share as well. A demo of a major global eLearning initiative will be provided to help participants understand some of the challenges and how this team overcame them.

About our Presenter

Bob Nutting is currently employed at the Federal Reserve Bank (FRB) of Minneapolis in the Learning Management Support Office (LMSO). He consults all of the banks on content development and leveraging the LMS for better engagement and improved analytics. Prior to joining the FRB, Bob was Director of Learning Strategy & Design with the DisasterReady.org initiative and the Cornerstone OnDemand Foundation team. His primary role was growing the free content library for humanitarian aid workers (52,000+ as of July 2015)–the majority of these learners spoke English as their 2nd language.
