ABOUT THE PROGRAM
How to Sell Good Instructional Design
Michael Allen, in his book, Designing Successful eLearning, said, “I’ve been to the dentist many times, but you wouldn’t want me attempting to fill a tooth… Being a student doesn’t make you a teacher.”
Have you had content experts or managers overrule or question your eLearning designs? Have you had difficulty selling an eLearning design because it doesn’t fit someone’s idea of content delivery? What are some effective methods for helping others see the value in your instructional approach, especially when it doesn’t fit their past experiences?
In this roundtable discussion we will share our ideas and successes in selling good instructional design to clients or within our own organizations.
Come prepared to share or ask questions.
