ABOUT THE PROGRAM
It has been a common practice for organizations to leverage technologies to enhance four essential workplace learning skills: communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity (also known as 4 Cs). The 4 Cs are especially crucial in the information age in which learning are mediated through various forms of informal learning, including web-based instruction, video-conferencing, personalized learning environments, MOOCS, mobile learning, immersive learning, and other media. This presentation will introduce digital learning tools to enhance the 4 Cs in the workplace. Specific tools and examples include mobile learning tools such as Symbaloo, CoggleIt, Padlet, MindUp, PearlTrees, Polleverywhere, Google Hangout, Wikibrains, VoiceThread, HaikuDeck, Explain Everything, Skitch, Evernote, Edmodo, Google Drive, and many more emerging tools. Furthermore, examples for formal learning using Articulate Storyline will be showcased. Participants are welcome to bring a mobile device or laptop to join the activities.
