Topic: Liberating Your Learning: Breaking the Bond Between LMS and the Training Website

Time: Monday, January 9th
6:00-6:30 Networking
6:30- 8:00 Program

About the Topic

Today’s online learning systems are highly integrated collections of applicationsthat extend well
beyond the boundaries of a single website connected to a learning management system. They
offer learning content at the point of need and in the format most useful for the learner.

This program will explore the journey of the Thomson Reuters Professional Legal division to move
from a single training website model to a model where learning content is served from a central
source…yet accessible via multiple sites and applications.  The program will highlight implications
for authoring content and the technologies used to bring the learning closer to the customer workflow.
